Connection Options
  • What type of connections do you offer to do changes to my website?
    We offer both FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and Microsoft Frontpage.

  • How do I connect to my website to do changes?

    Uploading/Downloading through an FTP program
    (**Note: All FTP programs use the same basic information to upload websites to CSInet)

    • Server Name/Domain Name/FTP Host Address:
      Type in your 'www domain name'.

    • Username/Account Name:
      Type in your 'Username'. (lowercase letters)

    • Password:
      Type in your 'Password'. (lowercase letters)

    The screen will be split into two. On the left is your hard drive on the right is where your website will be on our server. You can drag files back in forth, delete, rename etc.


    Uploading/Downloading through Microsoft Frontpage

    • Type in your 'www domain name' in Internet Explorer & bring up the page you want to edit.
    • Click on the 'Page Menu' (Internet Explorer 8) at the top & click on 'Edit with Microsoft Frontpage'.
    • Type in your 'Username' & 'Password' and hit the 'Enter key'.
    • You can drag files over from your computer to the file list on the left.
    • Once you are done editing the page click 'Save' and then go back into your browser and hit 'F5' to refresh. You should see your changes.
    • Please refer to the 'Help' feature for other methods in Microsoft Frontpage on how to manage your files and to do changes.

  1. What type of database options do you offer?
    We offer the following database connections at no additional charge.
    1. Microsft SQL
    2. MySQL
    3. Microsoft Access

Advertising

  1. Will you place ads on my website?
    Although there are some web hosting companies that will do this in trade in keeping the costs lower. CSInet will NEVER place ads on your site. We offer 100% bannerless hosting.

  1. If I am having trouble with my hosting service what type of service can I expect?
    You may call us toll free to talk to an experienced technician with your problems.

Billing

  1. What payment options do you offer?
    CSInet does all of our billing through direct debit at the first of each month. You may pay using credit card, checking, or debit card. You may also have it debited the 1st of each month from your savings though the pro-rate of the 1st month needs to debited from a credit card or checking account.

  2. How can I get a copy of my bill or change my billing address?
    Visit the Account Management section to view your current account status, change billing information, passwords, etc.

  3. What is the NSF fee if a check does not process through direct debit?
    The NSF fee in Indiana is $20. There will also be a $10 if the process does not go through using both checking or credit card.

  4. How do I contact CSInet for information about billing?
